The process is not going to be easy but you will enjoy the out come. One of the best things besides having a ‘Chi-chi’ is being able to control your pet. The Chihuahua is intelligent and brain to body ratio this dog is in the elite. I have to emphasize patience. Patience is the capacity of enduring hardship or inconvenience with out complaint. The first weeks can be rough although the age is important for you want to start early. Since we are implementing the cage in this training process social isolation will be important for this to have effect. Basically, when he or she is in the cage they are virtually invisible there can be no attention rewarded to the animal for 30 to 45 minutes. Sounds tough, for we have to remember the importance of training this breed so we can fully enjoy the Chihuahua. Raising a dog so fragile will take more than a couple things. At the end of the day affection is the way to win this dog over. We have to keep firm in our tones of voice and our body language. Have fun with your dog and take things one day at a time. This way of thinking can also be applied in the breeding of the dog. Breeding is also fun and an on going process. The health issues are something to keep in mind but in breeding health is important in all stages. Please start learning about the breed before engaging in any of these situations.
