Why Chihuahua “tea cups” cost so much?
Tea cup is a criteria used by the public to explain a smaller than usual Chihuahua. The smaller the more  expensive. This is do to the mother also being so tiny and can only give birth to 1 or 2 puppies. You have to be real careful when finding a teacup Chihuahua because of interbreeding ‘tea cups’ can possibly have more health problems.. That is why I emphasize know your breeder. I have a ‘tea cup’ and she is awesome! Ghia runs around like crazy and loves to pick on Xena and Enzo.. The smaller dog picks on the bigger one and in my situation it is funny. Take the time to train your expensive ‘tea cup” Chihuahua because they are so small this requires serious training. Your friend has to respond quickly in emergency situations. A bigger dog comes around or a neighbor comes over your Chihuahua has to listen and respond quickly for safety priorities.
