Ears of a “Chi-chi”!

The Chihuahua’s ears are a very important part in their behavior. Unlike many dogs the Chihuahua can use their ears like their tail. In the dog world they are called “Deer Ears” do to how they pivot independently and stand up perfectly. Flopped back droopy ears can mean “caution or timid, scared. Although flopped forward half standing up and half down can implement playfulness. Now if a Chihuahua just has one ear up and one flopped over, you simply have a broken ear (temporarily). It is nice to see different stages of temperament do to the position of the ears. If you pay enough attention to your Chihuahua you may be able to tell many things just by looking at their ears.
