The Chihuahua is a very small dog and lives close to the floor. That means much needed attention is required for the dogs eyes. Your tiny friend can get into all types of things and enjoys fragrances we do not understand. General health Issues

Heart murmur-A Chihuahua can live a long and healthy normal life. Heart “murmur” are uncommon in the Chihuahuas. A heart murmur is an superfluous or unusual reverberation heard at some stage in a heartbeat. Murmurs vary from very weak to very strident. They occasionally resonance like a whooshing or swishing sound.
Collapsing Trachea- When the cartilage in the neck area collapses or becomes damage causing problems for the small dog. The symptoms consist of, coughing, exhaustion and shortness of breath. This can appear in small dogs and older pups. Be careful when walking your Chihuahua a ‘Harness should be used because of this sensitive area and for superlative control of the small dog.
